An incident involving an injured old man found at a bridge prompted concerned citizen JA T Lamela to take photos of the situation, and to be able to praise the policeman who voluntary helped take the old man to the hospital.

The policeman has been identified as Police Senior Inspector Rodrigo De Dios of Pasig, and a CFC Chapter head from CB1A.

The location is at the Bambang bridge in Pasig near San Joaquin which is the boundary going to the municipality of Pateros.

Netizens started sharing their own appreciation as soon as the post was up and even shared by the police Facebook page.

We salute the policeman and especially the citizen who uploaded the story so we can inspire more cops to follow this good samaritan's example. Kudos to everyone who said kind words about the policeman.
