A newspaper article reportedly coming from Mindanao Times' column Loud Whispers written by Fely Viloria Sicam, is getting attention on social media for seemingly maligning resident doctors who she called "fake" for being less courteous in attending to patients and for not speaking in the English language. Many netizens, especially in the medical profession, are giving their own share of negative comments about the article and the writer herself.

Do not conclude that all doctors are the same and come from the same mold. Resident doctors are licensed to practice already. There are different situations for each patient and each healthcare provider. God forbid that you find yourself in dire straits and the only person who can give you the least amount of help is a resident physician. Good luck mam.
